Went to the restaurant and it was so so delicious. We wanted something outside of the city and a bit more local and this was perfect. GREAT prices for the quantity and quality. Very tasty comfort Texan food. The staff was very nice as well.

UPDATE: I've been back a dozen times and they never disappoint. Went Sunday with some foodie friends and it was fantastic. Avocado Toast -- one with egg and one without. Yum. We went to their soft opening today and it was great. I’ve seen this beautiful venue through multiple owners. The menu is varied, the portions ample, the taste delicious, the service attentive. I’ll be going back for breakfast served all day! Sometimes a girl just needs eggs Benedict!

What a lovely, appealing, and welcoming restaurant and bar. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast with excellent coffee, mimosas, and delicious blueberry pancakes and steel cut oatmeal. All the food looks amazing. This is their first weekend to be open, yet the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were excellent! Thank you Alex for your superb service! What a Sunday morning treat - I can hardly wait to go back.

The environment around the restaurant was amazing, The food was amazing too. I had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were so good, they were perfectly sweet and not too thick, they were pillowey and warm and the chocolate was melted and yummy. The biscuits are also tasty, they are soft and have a nice salted taste. The avocado toast is also so nice, it, looks wise was such a spectical and it tasted so good too

It’s a refreshing to find a nice place to enjoy breakfast in the area around the hill country. We had the French toast and it was amazing! The breakfast was an overall great experience and I would recommend to everyone

Great food. This was my third brunch time visit. The avocado toast is just delicious with the balsamic vinegar drizzle over the egg, arugula, and sour dough bread. Can’t forget the applewood bacon! I did not have the bacon jam this time, but it’s delicious too. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Great place to relax, talk with friends and eat well!

So I'm afraid the word is out, I'm going to leave a review . We have been here many times since opening, gets busier every time we go. Food is always great, service is top notch , drinks are great. Portions for the price are a great deal. Best place for brunch hands down in HSB area

Stopped at Lonely Oak to grab lunch when going between Enchanted Rock and Longhorn Cavern State Parks. Got the E.B.T. omelette - the pulled pork was a surprising highlight and the biscuit was that perfect combination of a crispy outside and fluffy inside. Clean restaurant and great service too!
